# About Jill

Jill is a gemstone-optics source archive. The current public graph structurally inventories 1,025 declarations across 39 files. Those counts come from source parsing; they are not a whole-corpus kernel receipt.

The archive's center of gravity is the tradeoff theorem `fire_brilliance_impossible` (`Jill/Optimization/TradeoffTheorems.lean:101`): for any material with refractive index above 1 and sufficiently small ε, the fire-optimal and brilliance-optimal pavilion angles are never equal.

The work was commissioned as a gift for Jill Campbell. Its models cover aspects of brilliance, fire, structural color, fluorescence, scintillation, and hardness.

The source repository is private. The public proof explorer exposes structural source records with file and line identities, while this manifest binds two narrow named source theorems to an exact pinned commit and content hashes. Neither surface establishes empirical validity or certifies unrelated page and runtime claims.
